Museum & Library

From a simple collection of First Quarter Storm (FQS) pictures initiated by the FQS Foundation, the Bantayog ng mga Bayani Museum, which has been called the “center for rare courage” continues to expand in its new house at the Sen. Jovito R. Salonga Building. The museum is visited by students, human rights activists, as well as foreign visitors. A library which is also located at the same building serves as a repository of materials on the Philippine experience during the Martial Law period.

Learning from the pain and triumphs of the past

Behind the Wall of Remembrance, in the new building named after Sen. Jovito R. Salonga, the Bantayog ng mga Bayani Foundation has opened its Museum and Library to the public. The Museum and Library are an indispensable complement to the Wall of Remembrance itself.

It is here where the stories of our martyrs and heroes will be told, the necessity of their sacrifices may be explained, and the message of their lives shall be deciphered by young people in the generations to come.
